BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Responsibilities: The primary role of the Business Development (BD) Manager is to generate and evaluate business ideas, both in core business as well as in diversification of business. The role includes all aspects of business development such as deal structuring, support and closure. You will identify and interact with new prospects and customer, and support local terminal management team on opportunities identified at a local level. It’s not about pursuing the deal at all costs, but proposing the project with the best strategic fit and structuring it in a beneficial way for Stolthaven. The B.D. manager knows how to sell his ideas, get all stakeholders aligned and is a real “jack of all trades”. A skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex division/business unit. A person who can bring together several stake holders to see the same way forward. Within Stolthaven, the B.D. Manager is instrumental to execute the growth strategy, both in core business as well as new businesses focused around the energy transition strategy.
Candidate profile: Master Degree in Business Finance, Economics, engineering or similar. Minimum of 4 year working experience in corporate finance, strategy consulting, m&a or business development. Excellent communicator, capable of stakeholder management on all levels, analytic and numeric strong. Result and goal oriented, but still fact and data driven.
