Service Terminal Rotterdam (STR) is a modern bunker fuel terminal in the Botlek area in the Port of Rotterdam. Their core business is the storage and transhipment of fuel oil and gas oil. But next to their 240,000 cbm tank storage facility, they offer a one-stop service for ship owners, charterers, traders and port agents who want to save time and money.

Responsibilities: The Terminal Manager acts as senior management and bridges the gap with junior-level employees and is responsible for the day-to-day integrity, maintenance and (business) continuity of the terminal. He displays versatility, openness and maturity in his relationships.
Tasks: Responsible for day to day operations. Maintain and improve the management systems. Ensures that facility and equipment are in proper working order. Managing risks and compliance with regulatory affairs. Communicates directly with operations to coordinate maintenance and repair work. Promotes safety culture.
Profile candidate: Bachelor level Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Relevant managerial management experience in petrochemical industry, preferably in tankterminal operations. Basic knowledge about Envirenmental/Safety legislation and BRZO. Basic understanding of Asset management. Openminded professional, strategic thinker, but also hands-on when needed. Flexible.
Conditions: € 90.000 – 105.000 + bonus + company car
