GIDARA Energy has the ambition to become a global processing company converting non-recyclable waste into valuable chemical building blocks and advanced biofuels. They will do so by employing their patented High Temperature Winkler (HTW®) technology, the leading gasification technology, with decades of experience at commercial scale. GIDARA Energy develops its own projects from initial concept based on own proprietary technology into full operations.

GIDARA Energy operates in a fast-growing market that presents many potential opportunities. They must be selective in choosing the best combination of location, feedstock, product and business partners including customers. Their first projects are well under way and their ambitious plans to develop future projects are supported by strong and growing demand for our products, underpinned by accelerating regulation.

The technology department renders services in further developing the HTW technology in making it easily applicable in different circumstances, and making use of several types of feedstock. Also the technology department is active in the realization of the new to be built plants throughout Europe.

Within the technology department a growing group of highly educated Process and Technology Engineers is active. They are active in R&D, projects and will be involved in the commissioning and start-up of the new plants.

To lead and manage this growing group of 15 Process Engineers, Gidara is currently looking for a

Head of Process Engineering

He/she will be responsible for:

  • taking responsibility for the output of the process engineering team
  • further developing the process engineering team and the individual team members
  • prioritizing the work that needs to be done
  • personally contributing to reviews and studies
  • contributing to strategic focus and direction with regards to process engineering

  • Academic degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology or similar
  • At least 10 years of managerial experience leading a team of highly qualified professionals in process engineering
  • Solid background in petrochemical industry working for an international petrochemical or oil major or working for an international active engineering contractor
  • International scope
  • Fluent in English

Salary indication

Eu. 110.000 – 130.000 + bonus + excellent sec.package
