Their after-sales brand, MAN PrimeServ, offers an extensive network of service centers for their customers worldwide. For their MAN Industries department located in Rotterdam the Netherlands, from where the sales and field service activities are coordinated, they are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager Carbon Capture and Storage

The Sales Manager Carbon Capture and Storage is responsible for the development and achievement of order intake goals, plans and activities of the industries products and services in the Benelux, with a specific focus on CCS. 

Tasks: 

  • The management and coordination of the sales, business development activities and customer relationship for new sales equipment in the Benelux and neighbor countries, with special focus on CCS;
  • The registration, acceptance of MAN-ES products with all customers and end users, so that each product gets the best chance in the market;
  • Building customer relationships from prospecting to closing;
  • The support of commercial negotiation of new sales proposals up to contract signature and provide proper support during project execution till PAC signature;
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence, competitors activities and project opportunities;
  • Reporting in a structured and professional manner;
  • Travelling around in Benelux and abroad according to business needs;
  • Mission-critical customer contacts (key accounts);
  • Providing information, maintain records and carry out all duties (e.g. use of CRM) in an accurate, efficient and timely manner for New Sales activities;
  • Enhancing the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.

Profile:  

  • Bachelor/Master degree in business, engineering or comparable; 
  • Seasoned sales/marketing experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the HDRE manufacturing / service business;
  • Deep understanding and knowledge about the balance of plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes;
  • Customer centric, service minded, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities;
  • Solid competences in turbomachinery and knowledge of the carbon capture and storage market;
  • Excellent skills set required in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal implications of terms and conditions and project management  at the most senior level of customer;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional foreign language are advantageous;
  • Readiness to travel as required by business needs (partially >80% of the time and sometimes on very short notice).

Conditions:

€ 65.000 – 85.000 per year + company car + excellent sec.package
