Division Vopak LNG
At this moment in time, LNG is the main fuel facilitating the energy transition in many countries in the world.
The LNG Division of Royal Vopak operates two land-based terminals, GATE terminal in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and TLA in Altamira, Mexico. The recent acquisition of a share in ETPL, a floating regasification terminal (FSRU) in Port Qasim in Pakistan, marks an important step in diversifying our service offering in LNG infrastructure. The latest acquisition of a share in a LNG import terminal in Colombia, further diversifies the global presence. Next to their 4 operational terminals the have three ventures in portfolio (in China, Germany and Hong Kong), which ar in a far project development stage.
Divisional Operations Manager LNG
Purpose: Driving continuous improvement in the operational performance of existing Vopak LNG Terminals. This includes, but not limited to, governance over safety, asset management and investment proposals and providing support to the terminal with advisory and audit review capacity.
Developing an LNG One Vopak Experience (OVE) with distilled operational standards, procedures and best practices in order to strengthen the Vopak LNG brand towards customers and (new) partners.
Supporting business development and project management (design, construction, commissioning and hand-over operations) of new Vopak LNG terminals with expert advisory capacity, e.g. International Customer in VPM and managerial capacity, e.g. setting-up the organizational structure and implementation of Vopak LNG standards, procedures and best practices.
Profile candidate
Manager with at least 6 years of in-debth experience within a LNG terminal. University degree in engineering (preferably civil, mechanical or process/chemical). 10 years of working experience of which at least 4 years in the LNG industry sector.
