For their growing business and the exciting new investments, GIDARA ENERGY is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the team in Nootdorp, the Netherlands

In the role of Sourcing Manager, you will manage the sourcing of materials, goods and services for the successful start-up and operations of the Advanced Methanol plants in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants in Europe. You are part of the Operations team in Nootdorp but will frequently visit the site locations and engineering offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful start-up and operations of the Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants
  • Support Operating and Maintenance Partner at the sites
  • Set up and Manage Utility contracts across sites
  • Set up and Manage Major Service contracts across sites
  • Set up and Manage spare parts and consumables across sites
  • Set up and Manage offtake of by-products from sites


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You bring the following competencies:

  • Master degree in economics or equivalent
  • 10 years experience in petro/chemical or manufacturing plants, with at least five years experience in sourcing/contracting of utilities, consumables and service contracts in Benelux
  • Passion for securing the best sourcing
  • Ambition to grow the business and improve the sourcing
  • Can work efficiently as part of a highly dynamic team and can also take ownership and work independently, hands-on
  • Excellent organizational and work coordination skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Work and residency permit for the Netherlands

In the role of Technical Manager, you will provide technical support for the successful start-up and optimization of the Advanced Methanol plants in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants in Europe. You are part of the Operations team in Nootdorp but will frequently visit the site locations and engineering offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful start-up of the Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants
  • Technical Support for Operating and Maintenance Partner at the sites
  • Set up and Lead a team of Process, Specialist engineers and Production planners at the sites
  • Optimize Plant performance (monitoring, trouble shooting, define improvements)
  • Optimize equipment performance (bad actor elimination, equipment strategies)
  • Manage site planning, scheduling and  QA / QC process from feedstock to biofuels
  • Support site compliance certifications
  • Improve the Technical Design and Procedures for the HTW2.0 gasifier and Gas Treatment
  • Develop Talent across sites


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You bring the following competencies:

  • Master degree in engineering
  • 10-15 years experience in petro/chemical plants, with at least five years experience as technical  or engineering head and experience in starting up new facilities
  • High HSE and operating standards
  • Passion for optimization of chemical facilities
  • Can interface well between specialist engineers and plant operations personnel
  • Drive to continuously learn and improve
  • Ambition to grow the business and improve the operations
  • Can work efficiently as part of a highly dynamic team and an also take ownership and work independently, hands-on
  • Excellent organizational and work coordination skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Work and residency permit for the Netherlands
  • Flexibility to work at the site locations AMA, AMR as well as in Nootdorp office

In the role of Startup Manager, you will manage the successful start-up and operations of the Advanced Methanol plants in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants in Europe. You are part of the Operations team in Nootdorp but will frequently visit the site locations and engineering offices. In this role you will report to the COO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful start-up of the Amsterdam, Rotterdam and subsequent plants
  • Provide oversight on EPC contractor and O&M partner for successful start-up
  • Provide and Improve HTW Startup Operating Procedures and Training program
  • Capture Learnings and improve Start-ups across sites
  • Provide suggestions to technology to improve HTW startup facilities
  • Support sites for (un)planned shutdowns


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You bring the following competencies:

  • Master degree in engineering or equivalent by experience
  • 15 years experience in petro/chemical plants, with at least five years experience as production head and experience in starting up new facilities
  • Experience in gasification or fluidised beds and gas treatment is a plus
  • High HSE and operating standards
  • Passion for operations of chemical facilities
  • Drive to continuously learn and improve
  • Ambition to grow the business and improve the operations
  • Can work efficiently as part of a highly dynamic team and can also take ownership and work independently, hands-on
  • Excellent organizational and work coordination skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch

It is essential for GIDARA Energy to develop deep understanding of the current regulatory framework driving demand for renewable fuels and chemicals today. Also, they need to anticipate, monitor and interpret future regulatory changes impacting their products to manage challenges and opportunities.

Policies and laws impacting feedstocks and their acceptability and classifications are further important areas for them to comprehend and appreciate.

They will build relationships with relevant authorities and other stakeholders enabling them to support and influence policy making at both EU and key member state level as well as the UK as initial focus areas.

GIDARA Energy is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to become a recognised expert in above mentioned key policy areas impacting their business and to manage the interface with governmental bodies and other key stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current and future regulations that may impact GIDARA Energy’s products and feedstocks, at both EU and member state level.
  • Interpret that understanding to explain impact on GIDARA Energy’s business and provide timely advise on regulatory requirements and input into business strategy formulation.
  • Oversee the necessary value chain of the products with essential technologies and understands the work processes during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide relevant input on requirements and opportunities for individual plants based on regulatory frameworks applicable to a given location.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities for marketing authorisation and/or interpretations of regulations.
  • Liaise with relevant sustainability certification bodies to ensure that all applicable accreditations are obtained.
  • Gather and evaluate data that has been researched by colleagues from different disciplines including business development and technology experts and provide feedback from regulatory perspectives.
  • Develop and maintain a road map for business development concerning regulations and resulting business opportunities.
  • Explore for and exploit available subsidies that any of GIDARA Energy’s projects may be eligible for.
  • Understand the landscape of relevant industry bodies / trade associations, propose relevant memberships and represent Gidara Energy and its interests in these groups.
  • Monitor and share energy and climate related news.

  • The Chief Commercial Officer of the Company.


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You bring the following competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in relevant academic field
  • Additional academic qualifications in process engineering or technical business management is desirable 
  • Minimum ten years of relevant work experience, preferably with producing companies in the energy and/or chemicals sector
  • Working experience and existing network with governmental authorities and regulatory affairs
  • Existing knowledge of relevant EU regulations 
  • Strong analytical skills for interpretation of complex regulatory frameworks to inform business strategy formulation
  • Ability to represent GIDARA Energy before various audiences including public institutions and industry bodies to influence the debate and present GIDARA Energy as a thought leader in its field
  • Basic understanding on life cycle analysis and greenhouse gas emission calculation concepts
  • Excellent written and spoken English, other European languages would be an asset
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Work and residency permit for the Netherlands

Preferred location:

  • GIDARA Energy is developing its business in Mainland Europe but also in the UK it is expected that the work location is flexible, and RAO is expected on a frequent basis in the staff office in Amsterdam.

Als Projectmanager binnen GroenLeven ben je verantwoordelijk voor het tijdig en binnen de gebudgetteerde kosten en geplande tijd opleveren van een project. Je draagt bij aan de continue kennisontwikkeling binnen het team en GroenLeven, en bent op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen binnen de technische projectontwikkeling. 

Je verantwoordelijkheden zijn:

  • aansturing van PV-projecten op grote daken;
  • aansturing van projectleiders / constructiemanagers;
  • zorg dragen voor een gestructureerde projectuitvoering;
  • opstellen en bewaken van het projectbudget;
  • het laten maken van uitvoeringsplanning en de bewaking op voortgang;
  • rapportage over de projecten in uitvoering;
  • het signaleren en oplossen van verstoring in de projectvoortgang;
  • het (laten) bewaken van de kwaliteit van de werkzaamheden;

Vereisten

  • je hebt minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring als project manager
  • je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels, Duits is een pré;
  • je beschikt minimaal over een HBO technisch diploma;
  • je beschikt over een VCA VOL certificering;
  • je hebt kennis van NEN1010/NEN3140/NEN3840;
  • je hebt kennis van PV installaties;
  • je hebt kennis van project management systemen (systemengineering/PMBOK) en tools (zoals Prince 2).
