The successful candidate will take ownership of the business development process for specific projects, create and qualify leads and developing opportunities to executable projects, ready for board approval.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and evaluate leads and develop opportunities from a conceptual phase to complete feasibility and subject board approval handover to project development for engineering; liaise closely with CCO and other internal stakeholders as relevant throughout the process.
  • As primary contact for stakeholders, develop and manage relationships with (potential) suppliers of feedstock, offtakers, landowners, and utility providers for specific projects.
  • Oversee the necessary value chain of the product(s) with essential technologies, and understands the work processes during the project lifecycle.
  • Cooperate closely with technology specialists and other colleagues in the process scope and technical content of the projects.
  • Develop project feasibility studies to include both commercial and technical components.
  • Compose commercial and technical proposals for potential business partners and develop these into LOIs/MOUs and actual agreements as appropriate.
  • Represent GIDARA Energy and promote its business during conferences and other relevant industry events.
  • Develops relationships with potential clients for certain market sectors.

 Educational and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in relevant academic field, e.g. commercial technical.
  • Additional academic qualifications in Industrial Engineering and Management (technische bedrijfskunde), Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Technical Business Management   
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience (Commercial, Business Development, Project management), preferably with producing companies in the energy and/or chemicals sector.
  • Experience of working within the sustainability/energy transition arena would be desirable.
  • Practical experience to develop feasibility and business reports.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, other European languages would be an asset.
  • Computer literate.
  • Work and residency permit for the Netherlands

De Maintenance Engineer Mechanical rapporteert aan de Technical Manager en is verantwoordelijk voor de betrouwbaarheid en de beschikbaarheid van de mechanische installatie. The Foundation Preparation Pallas-reactor (PALLAS) is designing and building a multifunctional reactor for the production of (medical) isotopes and for conducting nuclear technological research. This reactor will replace the current High Flux Reactor (HFR) in Petten (NL) to guarantee the security of supply for millions of patients worldwide.

PALLAS wants to build its future together with Foundation NRG (NRG). They both have the ambition to continue and enforce the Dutch position as a worldwide top producer of radiopharmaceuticals in Petten, 50km north of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. We are doing this with the realisation of the FIELD-LAB (a research facility for the development of new medicines), the new PALLAS-reactor and the Nuclear Health Centre (a new production facility for processing therapeutic isotopes). The diagnosis market remains a spearhead, but the focus will mainly be on innovations and expanding the production chain for therapeutic isotopes. Through the collaboration with various national and international university hospitals and knowledge institutions, Petten is to become a breeding ground in Europe for new nuclear medicine. Project Controls Engineer

The Project Controls Engineer will be part of a international team, that consists of specialists coming from all over the world and working together on this unique, complex and multi-billion project.

Tasks:

  • Monthly Porgress statusing on Project Activities: Continually follow the monthly reporting cycle for PMO. Matrixed into specific projects, reporting to the Project Manager and the Head of PMO, the Project Controls Engineer will assist the Project Manager in Pallas schedule activities statusing, contractor schedule status evaluation, cost control, change control, document management and risk and issue management. Generates project reports.
  • Advising the PMO and Project Managers: Where issues are arising, and support in identifying and implementing recovery actions.
  • Overseeing cost control and scheduling: The main areas of focus are cost control, scope control, scheduling and risk management.

Profile:

Bachelor / academic degree in technical study. Several years of relevant working experience working on complex (large) technical projects (petrochemical, construction, infra). Project controller skills: Strong analytical skills, problem solving, excellent written and oral communication. Detail oriented, but not loosing view on the total project. Multi-tasker, able to work with a diverse group of vendors, executive managers, contractors and consultants. Project Portfolio Manager – LBC Tank Terminals – Antwerpen

LBC Tank Terminals, with its’ headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is an independent operator of midstream and downstream bulk liquid storage facilities for chemicals, oils and refined petroleum products currently owning and operating a global network of terminals with a combined storage capacity of 3.0 million m³. The global footprint consists of 7 facilities located in Europe and America serving over 70 customers, including all major players.

Position
As an Inspector at Level 3, you will act in accordance with Dutch legislation on Pressure Equipment and LyondellBasell corporate requirements, as a qualified and independent Inspector. You will inspect and examine Pressure Equipment, Piping, Storage tanks and other relevant Mechanical Static equipment within different aspects of engineering, design and in service.

You will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) towards plant operations and maintenance for mechanical integrity matters.

Activities and duties but are not limited to:

•          Define, implement and improve inspection strategies based on best available techniques;

•          Review and approve inspection reports;

•          Act independent and corrective in relevant situations;

•          Provide support in authority engineering for capital projects;

•          Conduct reliability studies based on inspection findings;

•          Experience with Risk Based Inspection methodology to optimize the inspection program.

Job

The Construction Engineer will be responsible for the civil construction activities. You will be part of the ‘Owner Construction Team’ and will report to the Construction Director. Your main activities will be to give input to constructability reviews, supervising civil construction quality at site and to maintain the relationship with NRG with respect to the site preparation activities that take place at the Energy & Health Campus (EHC). To that end, you will have close interaction with the Engineering Manager and the Lead Civil Engineer in the Engineering Team.

This function is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

Activities

The Construction Engineer is responsible for the following activities:

  • support in contracting of civil works:
  • input in tendering specifications;
  • input in definition of contract requirements;
  • input in definition of conditions;
  • contribution to evaluation of tenders for civil works.
  • constructability reviews;
  • optimizations of design related to construction methods;
  • supervision of site construction works;
  • support Engineering in the Detail Design phase;
  • support Quality Control of civil works;
  • ensuring compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.

Your profile          

We are looking for a Construction Engineer, located in the Netherlands, who:

  • has a higher level (or mid-level with proven experience) of professional education;
  • has a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering;
  • has proven experience working in an international environment;
  • has organisational skills and the ability to organise the work and workload;
  • values the team and ensures regular, clear and correct communication.

Experience in construction work in an environment with specific quality requirements (f.e. nuclear, pharma and/or food) and experience with high complex, highly regulated projects are considered an advantage.
