Position:
Project Development Manager RNG
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the development of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects with the specific task of improving the front-end loading and increasing predictability in project delivery.
The ideal candidate is hands-on and can bank on extensive project management and stakeholder management experience.
He/she will have a strong background in both technical and business aspects, capable of managing the project in Feasibility (pre-FEED) and Definition (FEED) phases and ensuring successful transition to execution.
The Project Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and integrating technical fronts, including Engineering, Project management, Safety, Permitting and Operations.
The role would report directly into the General Project Manager, RNG.
Your responsibilities:
| Manage safety in all aspects (process & people), ensuring design integrity.Closely coordinate with Business Development / Commercial and other representatives from Operations, and HSE departments to ensure alignment between business and project drivers, including permitting.Coordinate the engineering teams (contractors & owner) driving concept selection and ensuring design integration and robust scope definition.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, as applicable.Manage the permitting process with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies.Establish to project governance structure and processes for the projects.Develop early execution and contracting strategies.Ensure adherence to corporate policy and compliance with the VTTI Project Management Framework driving rigorously the RNG projects through stage gate process.Manage project budget and schedule predicably against commitments and intervene to avoid overrun and slippage through recovery plans when/as neededDrive competitiveness in RNG projects by implementing Value Engineering practices as applicableManage project risk register and actively convey project risks to stakeholders. |
Profile:
- University degree (bachelors or masters) in Engineering or relevant discipline with combination of qualifications and experience.
- Extensive and proven experience in project management, preferably in Renewable Industry or similar.
- Strong technical background with knowledge in engineering and contract management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Vast experience in stakeholder engagement, driving performance of a multi-disciplinary team, self-reflective and supportive.
- Deep understanding of project management stage gate processes.
- Hands-on, inquisitive, resourceful.
- Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus.
